Biography

I am a self-driven individual expanding my knowledge and skills in the vast area of AI and ML. During my bachelors, I developed various deep learning models for computer vision tasks such as image classification, object detection especially small objects. I have fine-tuned state-of-the-art deep learning models like YOLOv5, YOLOv8, Faster-RCNN on the COCO dataset. Moreover, I have experience in generating synthetic data(images) using augmentation techniques. I’ve combined classical and deep learning techniques to improve the mean average precision(mAP) of the models.

Currently, I am learning natural language processing(NLP) and large language models(LLMs).

I secured the Chanakya fellowship for my drone detection research project. This project focuses on developing a lightweight drone detection model using deep learning-enabled computer vision methods that infer high precision and recall. Additionally, this model can be deployed onto edge devices such as raspberry-pi4.I secured the Chanakya fellowship for my drone detection research project. Responsibilities include model training, fine-tuning, synthetic dataset generation, data pre-processing and model deployment.
